Social programme

Besides the technical/scientific component, a social programme will also be prepared for the Congress.
Mainly, this programme will include the following items:

• A welcome cocktail at the end of the first day of the Congress. This welcome cocktail will be an offer to all participants and accompanying persons, in a BOAT TRIP along Douro River, enjoying the beautiful views of the City seen from the river, and the collors of the Sky at the SUNSET.

 

• A Congress dinner in the second day of the Congress, to be held in one of the typical Port wine cellars, CAVES FERREIRA, including a visit to the Cellars and a show by the TUNA of Porto University

 

• A farewell cocktail at the end of the third day of the Congress, held at the Faculty of Engineering of Porto University. Similarly to the welcome cocktail it will be an offer to all participants and accompanying persons.

 

• A reception for the Young Acousticians will be also held, in a get-together style, coordinated by the IACES (International Association of Civil Engineering Students).
