Grants for Young Researchers

EAA will support with grants the participation of 10 young researchers and students from European Countries in this Congress.

The grant consists in a free registration. To apply for these grants, young researchers must:

  1. be a member of a National Society of the EAA
  2. be enrolled to a university course (Bachelor, Master, PhD) or already possessing a Master or a PhD degree
  3. be no more than 30 years old on 01.01.2021
  4. be the first author of the paper that will be presented at the Conference
  5. sent abstract to organizers before Conference deadlines

In parallel, they have to send their application in electronic form to the EAA at the following address:

euronoise-grant@euracoustics.org
before the end of July.

The application must include the following documents (in pdf format):

  1. University enrolment certificate (for Master or PhD students) OR copy of the University degree (for other young researchers)
  2. copy of Membership in a National Society of the EAA
  3. birth and citizenship certificate or a passport copy
  4. short curriculum vitae with list of publications
  5. letter of support from the supervisor
  6. abstract of the paper submitted + one page of theory/experiments/results/conclusion or the full paper.

The Board of the European Acoustics Association, on the basis of the applications received, will publish a list of the winners of the grants on the EAA web site https://euracoustics.org/ and will inform the winners accordingly.

The Conference will reimburse the winners for registration.

The winners are invited to present the contribution either in oral or in poster form at the Congress.
