1 st day

15h00 - Departure from Lisbon to Porto.

- Check-in and accommodation.

2nd day

07h30 - Departure from the Hotel to Cais do Freixo quay.

08h00 - Passengers embark.

08h30 - Cruise at Douro River.

- Snacks and Lunch served on board

- Cruise along the Crestume/Lever Dam - a 14 meter elevation raise

- Cruise along the Carrapatelo Dam - a 35 meter elevation raise

- Cruise along the Bagaúste Dam - a 27 meter elevation raise

17h30 - Arrival at Pinhão quay and passengers debark

18h20 - Passengers attendance at Pinhão Railway Station

18h31 - Train departures to Porto

20h55 - Expected time of arrival at Campanhã Railway Station, in Porto.

- Transfer by bus to the Hotel.

- Accommodation.

In the event that the Portuguese Railways cannot provide rail transportation, that section of the trip will be made by bus.

3 rd day

- Check-out of Hotel.

09h30 - Departure from the hotel to panoramic visit of Porto, focusing the historical centre and the modern areas of the city.

13h00 - Lunch in a local Restaurant .

15h00 - Return to Lisbon.

18h30 - Expected time of arrival in Lisbon ( Campo Grande).

An adventurous way to explore this wonderful island is on guided walk along the “Levadas”-man made irrigation channels which carry water from high in the mountains down through the many farms to the fields and villages lying below .

If you are feeling more active, you can enjoy golf, tennis and the chance to scuba dive around underwater caves and wrecks of sunken ships.

A thrilling “Toboggan ride” will sweep you down the mountain from Monte to Funchal.
